Is it really the nationality thing?
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006This is gonna be a really disturbing entry.. its been an irritating issue for me .. Sometimes I wonder.. why is it that ppl think Indonesia has no Chinese? and when i say i am a CHINESE INDONESIAN.. mostly ppl ask me the following same questions.. "ur a chinese? Indon Chinese? do you speak the language? are u sure ur chinese? ur not moslem? do u eat pork?? are ur parents chinese? do u speak hokkian or hakka or tio ciu or bla bla bla?" oh my gosh… wake up!!! u chinese who asked me this questions are really funny.. i have exactly the same skin color as u do.. same eye shape.. same hair color.. same kinda nose.. i prob have the same dialects as u do… and yet chinese outside Indon think we are just another foreign maids from Indonesia who came to work overseas but the ones with a lil of "BRAIN" and "ATTITUDE". Hey.. PLEASE!!! Even China has the dumb ppl!!! So i am writing this to inform you.. YES, there are Chinese in Indonesia!! now you know…!!!!
I am not gonna let ppl who treat me so to think i am "inferior" than u chinese educated out there…!!! i have taken my courage to write the things that bother me the most today… whatever comments coming from writing this on my blog.. just go ahead!!!! so u read it and think whether ur chinese enough to say ur a pure Chinese! then u tell me why i am not a chinese~!
